As I sit in my Jeep by a park, waiting for my 2.5 hour delivery shift to start in an hour, I think to myself… where do I want to go?
I need change and I need to make things happen fast because my patience with boredom is running thin. Adventure, risk taking and new beginnings is what I’d like to experience now.
As much as I love Southern California, I’m ready to venture off elsewhere for a while. I don’t really have much holding me back except that my funds are limited and my Jeep needs a new clutch, especially since I use my own vehicle to make money, which is like a double-edged sword. I have the freedom to pick up delivery shifts when I want and I make decent money but I also spend a lot of the money I earn on gas and maintenance. And thanks to President Trump, gas prices out here are heading close to $4 a gallon. Meh. But anyways, you have to work with what you got, right? If I had the funds and a new clutch, I’d be set but I’m working on trying to figure out how to make that happen!
Right now it’s a little hot outside, so I want to stay out of the southern states. I was thinking of going north somewhere. I’d also like to meet up with a fellow Jeeper, name Jake, who has been my inspiration lately to do some serious traveling in my Jeep.
I randomly came across Jake’s Youtube channel not too long ago. It must’ve popped up when I was watching videos on Jeeps. A video he made about living in a Jeep Wrangler popped up and I thought, “Ha, no way! I have to check this out!” and then I just started binge watching and getting all pumped up. If you’re interested in who this Jake guy is, check him out here.
So now, I’m in search of ways to do Jen’s version of Jake’s Jeep adventures. So original, right? Eh, maybe but instead of seeing the adventures from Jake’s point of view, why not see Jen’s Life version?
Anyways, I’m interesting in everyone’s suggestions, advice, comments, etc. about this, so feel free to let me know what you think!
And don’t forget, if you wanna help Ringo get a new clutch, check out my other blogs as that actually helps me out! Thanks much and cheers!
