What Does the Speed Limit Sign Really Mean?

I’ve been on this pretty cool road trip among the states for the last month. From California to Florida, then from Florida to New York and now from New York to Maine, just for a few days to celebrate July 4th with family. And during my travels through the 15 states, one question kept popping up in my head: Why are people so confused?

I drive a Jeep Wrangler and any of my fellow Wrangler owners know, Jeep Wranglers aren’t very aerodynamic whatsoever. They are boxy and they are definitely not made to race down highways and freeways, especially when the tires are oversized. But they are lovely motorized beasts and fun as fuck to play with off pavement!

Living In My Jeep: Day 1

Hello again, San Francisco!

I left SoCal again last night to give San Francisco another shot. It was a premature decision because I really wasn’t ready to make this huge move but something told me to just go, just like the time I up and left to visit the Four Corners in New Mexico, randomly. I also wanted to make the decision fast, before my mind started coming up with reasons to stay put in my comfort zone. Boring.

Thinking About Moving Back Into My Jeep

Lately, I’ve been feeling very discontent with my living situation.

I sleep on a couch in my sister’s house, and live out of my suitcase. This is fine and I have no problem with it because I’m super chill with not having a lot as I’ve mentioned in my When I Have Less, I Appreciate More blog. The problem I have is the toxic environment I’m exposed to while I’m staying here.

Because I have been accelerating through the ascension process of spiritual awakening, I’m more sensitive to the energy around me. Way, WAY more sensitive. I can pick up on positive and negative energy in people real quick. Before I started the ascension process, I didn’t get bothered as much by other people’s energy because I was never aware of it. Now, I can’t help but take notice and feel it intensely, no matter what I’m doing.

Never Lose Sight of What You Truly Value

I’m sure we’ve all experienced a time in our lives when life is on the up and up and then out of nowhere, something comes along to roundhouse kick us towards rock bottom. It’s as if our future felt real promising and then skewed right over towards feeling betrayed in some way.

This has happened to me several times in my life. Most of them were considered very minor blows, like the time I ended up becoming broke and homeless. I was able to dust myself off and bounce back quickly. However, this past year, not so much, even when I had more than enough money and my own fancy apartment.

Why Choose One Destination…

When you can choose from many at any given point?

I originally wanted to go straight to the Four Corners, but as I started driving, I realized that trying to get to that one destination is just crap. I did that twice last year; once to Duluth, Minnesota and the other to Abbotsford, British Columbia. What sucked is that I don’t remember much of the drive, even though I spent a good amount of time driving. I was so focused on my destination that I didn’t consider anything else along the way.

This morning as I went to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin, I thought, what the hell, just stay in the present moment, keep an open mind and enjoy the journey.
