Over the last year, I’ve learned a lot about astrology and how the stars, planets, points, etc. have a direct influence over us in regards to the circumstances that we experience throughout our lives, whether we believe it or not.
I’ve been back and forth with whether or not to pay attention to the alignments because I have been so confused about it all. But lately, I’ve gained a lot of clarity about what’s going on in the cosmos. But like anything we believe in life, we could always be proven wrong. I get information about what’s going on in the cosmos but that’s it. I don’t overthink about how my future will be based on what’s going on, I just see where everything is and what kind of energy they will throw in our direction so I can prepare myself for them.
Even though they have these direct influences, we each have the free will to view and respond to them as we see fit. That is the only thing we have control over. We do not control the cosmos or anything they throw our way.
So lately, there was a huge transit that happened last month. The biggest planet in our solar system, Jupiter, finally made its transit back home in the group of stars, or constellation, called Sagittarius. This happens once every 12 years and it stays in this constellation for about 12-13 months.
Jupiter is known as the planet of luck and expansion. So it expands whatever it touches. Now, because it is in Sagittarius, it is expanding higher learning, travel and luck. It’s in my home turf because I’m both a Sagittarius Sun and Ascendant, although the Ascendant is the most important, which is determined by the time you were born and determines the houses that the other constellations fall under. So because Jupiter is back in my first house, its home turf, things will start to shift in my favor way more easily than it has been over the last 3 years, especially this last year, as long as I respect the transit, stay aware and keep my ego in check.
So if you are not aware of the true essence of higher learning, what luck really means beyond the surface and you do not keep your ego in check, you may start to experience luck in a way that’s very uncomfortable.
Higher learning is a way of understanding life beyond the surface, as I’ve explained in a previous post The Problem With Awareness (I know, sounds like a contradiction). And luck is not what people think it is as I’ve posted about in The Nature of “Luck”. Most people think of luck in a way that is easy to obtain that is great on the surface and that’s not exactly what Jupiter offers. However, if you do the work by understanding life in a higher mind kind of way, the luck you receive will appear easy. Like I said, it’s a matter of how you use your free will to view and respond.
Now with this said, there are some things I’ve noticed that have happened since this transit took place. Call it the direct influence of the “luck” planet transit or a coincidence.
Many people that I know, whether family or friends that completely disregarded my attempts of informing them about astrology for the past year all have been experiencing “bad luck” since last month. One in particular, a friend, and the only person who criticized a post I made about astrology last year, dislocated his shoulder once this Jupiter transit took place and is now in rehab. I don’t think “good, he deserved it” but rather I am just amazed at how coincidental this is. It’s almost as if our lives are now “switched”.
I was in complete isolation and confusion in life for quite some time during that harsh transit my planet and constellation has made over the last few years and at the same time observing everyone else, including my friend, appearing to do well. Now, that my ruling, first house planet has returned home, I’m doing so well, and others are in a sense “struggling” even though I can clearly see what “lucky” opportunities are laid out for them. I’ve tried to explain to them what’s going on but they think I’m crazy. As for my friend, the rehab means he needs to slow the fuck down in life because his ego is out of hand and this is his golden opportunity to realize that.
So what do you think? Is it really the expansion of “luck” or just a coincidence?
